Ultra Minnows, Pre Painted.

A lot of guys like to paint and tie their own heads or at least try their hand at it but the cost of gearing up to pour and paint the heads is prohibitive.  It also requires a well ventilated place to do it and an investment in equipment and materials.  Result is they just don't do it.  Here's a possible solution.  Pre-painted heads at a reasonable cost and readily available.

     What you see here is the ever popular Ultra Minnow style jig head.  These are the conventional version of the Ultra Minnow style jig.  The line tie point is in the standard center balanced position.  This makes it the right choice for deeper water fishing with a more vertical line angle.

     As with all the tackle I make they are made using Mustad hooks that are 2x strong, tin plated for rust resistance in salt water, and forged for strength.  Paint is heat applied powder coat.  It's then heat cured for toughness.  When accent colors are applied it is done using spray vinyl. The whole head is then again coated with clear powder coat and again heat cured.  

     If you're looking for a good all around jig head to finish dressing this would be a good choice.
